Veil is an anonymous chat and dating app strictly for adults 18 years and older. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and for child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form.
1. Adults only — how we keep minors out
- Users must confirm a date of birth showing they are 18+ during sign-up. The date of birth is permanent and cannot be changed afterwards.
- Every account must be verified with a phone number via SMS, which deters fake and duplicate accounts.
- If we become aware that a user is under 18, the account is removed.
2. Prohibited content and behavior
The following result in immediate account termination and, where applicable, reporting to the relevant authorities:
- Any content that sexualizes, exploits or endangers minors (CSAE/CSAM).
- Attempting to solicit, groom or arrange contact with a minor.
- Sharing, requesting or linking to CSAM anywhere in the app.
3. In-app reporting and blocking
- Every chat includes one-tap Report user and Block user actions.
- Reports are reviewed, and accounts that violate these standards are terminated.
- Users can also contact us directly at the address below.
4. Action against CSAM
When we obtain actual knowledge of CSAM, we remove the content, terminate the account and report it to the appropriate authorities (including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children — NCMEC — or the competent local authority), in accordance with applicable law.
5. Legal compliance
We comply with applicable child safety laws and cooperate with law-enforcement requests as required by law.

3. Uygulama içi şikâyet ve engelleme
- Her sohbette tek dokunuşla Kullanıcıyı şikayet et ve Kullanıcıyı engelle seçenekleri bulunur.
- Şikâyetler incelenir; bu standartları ihlal eden hesaplar kapatılır.
- Kullanıcılar aşağıdaki adresten bize doğrudan da ulaşabilir.
4. CSAM'e karşı eylem
CSAM'den fiilen haberdar olduğumuzda içeriği kaldırır, hesabı kapatır ve yürürlükteki hukuka uygun olarak ilgili makamlara (NCMEC veya yetkili yerel makam dahil) bildiririz.
5. Yasal uyum
Yürürlükteki çocuk güvenliği yasalarına uyar, kolluk taleplerine hukukun gerektirdiği şekilde iş birliği yaparız.
